- Micro-porous tape
- Liquid anti-bacterial soap (parfum-free)
What to Avoid

Day 1 to 5:
Daily Care Instructions
Initial Cleaning (5-6 hours after tattoo)
- Wash your hands with liquid, parfum-free, anti-bacterial soap
- Remove the clingfilm and dispose of it
- Use only your hands to apply soap to your tattoo
- Wash under running, lukewarm water to remove all blood, plasma and ink
- Repeat this step every 5-6 hours, including after morning showers
Drying & Applying Cream
- Pat dry with a paper towel (never use a regular towel - they harbour bacteria and leave fibres)
- Once completely dry, apply a very thin layer of Bepanthen
- Use just enough to make your skin shiny with uniform coverage
- Rewrap with fresh clingfilm
After Day 5:
Moisturising Phase
Continue the same cleaning process, but switch from Bepanthen to A&D Ointment (moisturising cream).
- Apply at least 3 times per day
- Prevents skin from drying and scabs forming
- Total healing time: 4-6 weeks
